About El Reynaldo's

Nestled off East Main Street in Cañon City, this Mexican spot offers a laid-back atmosphere that fits right in with the neighborhood’s easygoing vibe. It’s a casual place where you can pull up to the drive-through or grab a seat inside for a relaxed meal that won’t take too long. The menu covers a range of comfort food classics like rolled tacos in varying portions, chicken fajitas, and satisfying burritos, including options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

The setting is welcoming for all kinds of diners—college students grabbing a quick bite, families with kids enjoying the kids’ menu and high chairs, or solo visitors looking for something simple and filling. Despite being located inside a gas station, the food feels far from typical convenience fare, drawing in locals and travelers who appreciate straightforward, well-prepared Mexican dishes. Seating arrangements and facilities are thoughtfully accessible, making it easier for everyone to feel comfortable while dining in.

Many come here for the hearty burritos and the variety of rolled tacos, but a few local specialties—like carne asada fries—add a little extra flavor for those willing to explore beyond the usual. The quick counter service keeps things moving, making it a solid option for anyone in need of a dependable Mexican meal without fuss. Coffee and desserts, including churros, round out the menu, making it a spot where you can settle in for a simple brunch or just pick up something to go during a busy day.

This is inside the gas station. We're coming from Texas so for this to be Mexican, we were putting to the test. Was very surprised to see carne asada fries! And they were good! Definitely passed our test and Definitely can see why there are 3 locations, at least!

Philip Stevens From Google 5

Definitely one of the best places for a quick and filling burrito. Would definitely recommend the breakfast burrito or the bean and cheese supreme burrito

The drive thru is fast and I have their Mexican Breakfast Burrito almost once a week. Only thing I would change is having cilantro as a side/ topping rather than only Pico. Love these guys!

The tacos featured in the picture are 2 fish tacos and a potato taco. Pretty simplistic and they are very delicious. The staff is always pretty nice and very upbeat. They can get busy and fast. The only thing is the eating area tends to have flies around the area every time I come into eat. But you better believe that I'm still going to destroy my tacos without fail. I live in Colorado Springs, but I do a route through the area for my job and this is the only taco place I stop by to eat at off of Highway 50. The price for the tacos are cheaper (around $1.95- $2.50 depending on what you order) And I'm always satisfied when I leave. I highly recommend coming here to grab a bite to eat whenever you're hungry.
